Audi S8 (W)2000 For Sale

Hi guys, With a little one on the way and a need for extra funds the time has come to let my S8 move on. I've had a wonderful time owning this car and I have to say all you guys that recomended an S8 when I first joined this forum pondering the idea were right on the button. Its been the best car I've owned and when funding allows I will definitely be joining the S8 ownership ranks again some-when....
Thanks to all you chaps who have advised/helped me in the last year, its a lovely little forum you've all got here....
Anyway...... Some of you will have seen it at ADI last year but for all others here are some pics:














Specifications as follows:
- 86K with full service history, probably one of the best condition low mileage S8's currently on sale.
- Unmarked Ming blue metallic pearl paintwork(looks black until the sun hits it)
- Full black leather heated recaro interior in stunning condition with electric everything.
- Audi Nav+ Satnav/TV/6CD multichanger with 12 speaker audio.
- Front and Rear parking sensors.
- Double glazed acoustic glass.
- 5 speed auto box with sequential and tiptronic steering wheel controls.
- Xenon headlamps + power washers.
- Electric one touch sunroof.
- Dual climate control (blowing ice cold).
- ABS/ESP/EDL
Wheels.
- I currently have 20" BBS CK alloys which are the exact same size/offset as the optional 20" alloys offered by audi, they're 6 months old,as new, with Kumho tyres(done approx 4k miles)cost me nearly £2K new and really update the look of the car due to their similarity to modern Audi alloys.
I also have a brand new unfitted BBS CK alloy with no tyre fitted(never got round to it).
- I also have the original avus 5 spoke 18" alloys with Dunlop tyres.These are in very good condition for the age and if anyone would prefer these fitted to the car then I'll happily keep the BBS and adjust my asking price accordingly.
-The car has been serviced regularly and has had the main cambelt/water pump service(due 80K) completed at a cost of £1100.
It has also had a brand new ECU fitted and the last two mot's were passed without any advisary's.
-It has all the original keys - Master key,Workshop key,Spare key and Key tag as well as all the original documentation/logbooks/radio code etc.
- Mot til 28/8/11, tax til 07/11
(its pre tax band rise so only £2** ish for 1 year)
It has been well looked after using Autoglym/Meguiars products and cleaned/maintained meticulously as can be seen in the pictures above.
For anyone looking for a stunning condition S8 this will not disappoint and so any inspection is welcome.
£7500 with 20”BBS alloys.
£6500 with 18” Audi alloys.

Brilliant car, if you need to release funds maybe someone could offer a cheaper A8 in part ex, that way you can still be one of us. The 8 is a great car for a new fam. Big enough boot for pushchairs, ISOFIX, safe and built in window blinds (if you have them!)

alas I need to clear some off the dreaded old credit card so the '8' ownership will be coming to an end,not sure I could make do with an A8 anyway.....?
I'm thinking a passat estate for me for a while but hopefully at some point I'll get another S8.....
I've got a silly dream about getting an S8 engine up to RS6 spec, it might take me a few years but it WILL happen......

Join the queue - that was my 1st thought when I read the ad yesterday

If the car goes with the BBS then the set of avus will be up for sale, not sure whether its clear from the advert but it is a full set of 5 avus alloys as well.(the 5th is still in my boot and hence not in the photo)
In this eventuality I'll give IceBlue8 first dibs due to his posting first by three minutes ! Sorry AdrianE......

Mentioning the old badge,(which I prefer too), I noticed at ADI the four rings on the back of mine are smaller than others - whys that then??

Don't worry Daz it's quite normal to have a smaller one than some others do. It's not the size that counts mate
