Default Phatbox vs. Dension Gateway 100

I have a Dension Gateway 100 fitted to my 2002 S8 (with Navigation plus) and Phatbox sat in the garage.

The level of control from the head unit for the Gateway 100 is rubbish! You can swap between the 5 playlists (fiddly - select 'CD 1' and then advance) and you can go backwards and forwards between tracks. But the display is hopeless. It always defaults to 'CD 5 Track 1' and the timer just goes to 59 seconds and then starts again at 10 seconds. So you never know where you are.

Dension say that the Gateway 100 isn't compatible with the Navi plus, but that early versions were (thanks Dension!).

Does anyone have any knowledge of what's displayed if I use the Phatbox (pictures would be even better)?

CD & Track no, but if you're on CD1 it's one thing, CD2 is another, CD3 is artist, CD4 is album, or something like that... still a bit fiddly, but it has voice prompts telling you which album/artist usually.
