Wanted: 18" Avus D2 S8 rims
Just putting the feelers out for these - I'm tentatively looking for a set of winter wheels, but need to be cheap and preferably presentable cosmetic condition or priced to reflect refurb cost. MUST be straight!
Either collection from somewhere SE or anywhere around the M4 corridor as do tend to get down to the West Country a fair bit, or delivered. Don't want tyres as will be fitting oddball sized winter spec to match the rolling radius of my 20s. Would consider non-Avus rims of similar size 7.5-8.5x18 but need to be pretty much straight spoked to clear the brakes, so Sport rims are no use. Something off a D3 would probably be OK too (RS4/6 reps etc). Drop me a PM if you have anything that might be suitable Cheers Adrian
