Forum move
I've finally managed to move the forum to its new home.
Its old home was some BT virtualised data center cloud, and the CPU and RAM that we got was poor and causing irratic behaviour. I'm hoping the new home will provide more power, stability and better protection. It will take a few days for the DNS records to update properly, so if you follow any old links, or links in emails directly to threads / posts or other functions of the site, they will likely fail, sorry. All should be back to normal in 24 - 48 hours after DNS sorts itself out.... In the meantime, any other problems, please let me know....

Search seems to be behaving oddly when looking for new posts; sometimes it works others it gives a search parameters screen.
I'll see if it settles down..............  (could be DNS playing tricks on me)

Polestar performance "optimisation".  (Even rarer than a D2 S8!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!  Finally: gone, but not forgotten..... 1998 D2 PF S8. Agate Grey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, Tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors. e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon. Added Auto-dim mirror, Leather seats, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer. And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

Anyone desperate for stability can edit the host file on their desktop to the new IP and all should be well.... I'm also interested in feedback on speed and how responsive it feels....

DNS looks sorted for me - was an ip address immediately after the switch and now back to normal www address
 Feels quicker, but I'm on my phone so not an exact science!

Could do with rar extension for attachments so that anything that does not fit under other extensions can be compresses to rar and attached.
