Default How often should we change fuel filter?

On my D2 I changed fuel filter 3 years ago and made 30000 miles. Time to change it again?

How often fuel filter needs to be changed?

I'm not sure there's a stated change interval for the petrol engines? Don't have my service book in front of me but would expect it to be listed if it is.

I know I've changed mine too, but only because I couldn't find a record of it being done before

I would say yes Sergey but theres no stated interval on autodata or tolerance which is the bibles used by workshops, which to me is a tad odd.
I changed mine last major service last autumn as I feel it should be done every 3 years or 30,000 miles. It seems crazy to me to have a filter in line then not recommend changing it at certain intervals!

Cheers Neil. Just ordered.

Here is the kit you need if you want to do it yourself for the following engines:

V8: AQG,AQF,ARU,AQH,AKC,AVP,AUW,AVN,BCS,AYS
V6: APR,AQD,AMX
W12: AZC

Fuel filter: 441 201 511 C
Two filter crush washers: N 013 81 28
Two more filter crush washers: N 013 81 49

Torque 23 Nm.

Optional hardware (in case you never changed it may be rusty and worth renewal):
Bolt: N 906 264 01
One more bolt: N 021 07 47
Screw: N 904 968 02

You will need to remove plastic cover to get access. Another 6 rusty bolts (optional):

Changed fuel filter today. Not difficult at all.

Had to drive to Halfords to purchase 22mm spanner.
Interestingly, in all DIY kits I've seen the largest spanner is 19mm
