Default D2 PF front armrest pillar

I thought they were rare as rocking horse sh*t but no-one seems interested. Similarly a tow bar. I waited for ages for one from A8 parts and now no-one wants one! Its a bit big for a paperweight.

Is the tow bar different between PF and FL? Don't really need one but if it's a fully hidden type I might be tempted for putting bikes on

Hi
I don't know whether the PF and FL have differing tow bars. Maybe A8 Parts can inform us?

I bought it for a bike rack and it works well. Most of it is under the bumper. The swan neck sticks out [of course] but does come off. Its a bit of a fiddle underneath with two very solid bolts. I guess if you're taking the swan neck off in September and back on for the summer hols its OK. I left it on.

PF and FL makes no difference to towbars - they fit just the same.

Most PF cars are already wired with the 13 pin plug ready to just be pulled out from under the boot trims and fed through and installed onto the towbar - FL cars are not pre-wired so either a quick and dirty tap into the rear light wiring, or to do it properly a bunch of wires from the front passenger footwell, some relays and so on...
