I decided to replace the rather dim lights behind the sunvisor with better (LED) ones as SWMBO does use hers a fair bit.
Now the PF ones are quite easy, being in the visor itself, but the FL ones are inset in the headlining. Various threads here and on Audipages about dealing with them. They were an absolute pig to get out, in VERY firmly. And then impossible to put back securely. ![]() In the process of extraction the metal spring clip at one end was bent back, but I cannot for the life of me see how it should be shaped to fit firmly once replaced in the roof. ![]() I've tried all sorts of options using small pliers to reshape it and whatever I do it's loose. It's obvious that the plastic lugs secure one end and the metal spring the other, but that just seems too small for the job. Anyone know the secret? ![]()
