Hi Guys
Just had to have the big 8 recovered to the local garage as (According to the RAC diagnostics) the Camshaft sensor is US and without the input the engine thinks its not moving so wont start.. What i am looking at here? The car was faultless for the last few thousand miles so im hoping it really is just the sensor. Any advice most welcome! B ![]() |

I don't know about the 8's sensor, but I've had that go on a number of cars over the years and it's usually an easy fix (for a garage) with no ill effects.

Added Auto-dim mirror, Leather seats, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer. And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850! |

Grand. The car was 99% before it just stopped so im hoping its all an easy fix. Thanks for that.
