Data: Engine cool down time
Here goes a geeky post.
Since I have been monitoring coolant temperature more than usually (ie not at all), I have collected one data point about cool down time during a recent trip to the cinema. Outside temperature: 6 celsius Engine temperature at shut down: 90 celsius Time car left standing: 4 hours Coolant temperature after 4 hours: 33 celsius Post your results if you have been playing with VCDS too.

Didn't you monitor wind speed and direction as well? And direction the car was facing. All these will impact on the cool down time.

Was it underground car park open one??
Where there any cars parked next to you with hot engines and exhaust pipes as well?? Was there a drop in outside temperature within 4 hours?? What was the movie?? And did you got any ice creams??
