Palmers A8 4.2 TDI (2006)

Due to an extreme change in circumstances, I am being forced to sell my beloved 4.2 TDI.

She is 56 plate sport at around 88k (increasing with use)

Full Audi service history from day one, the last one being at 75,798 miles from Worcester. Long life service which I believe is every 20k so she has a good 8-10k left in her before its due.

I think the only thing it doesn't have is adaptive cruise (just has normal) and soft close doors.

I intended (funny that word!) to keep this car for a number of years so I have spent a small fortune on her already in preparation backed up via receipts of course:

New Bosch S5 Battery - £133.81
New front windscreen - £70 insurance excess
Zimmermann Drilled front discs £170ish (200E from Germany)
ATE front pads - £107.99
AXE EX15 20'' x 9'' wheels with Toyo T1 Sports - £1,531

So in 8 months ive spent £2012.80.

As you can see, she is a beauty. Lovely paintwork, front bumper has some stone chips but it is 8 years old now so its to be expected as a luxury motorway mile muncher.

Known faults with the car? Absolutely none! The mmi screen has dropped in one corner and clips the aluminium on opening, thus I have put a small bit of tape there to prevent damage - but I do include a new set of MMI metal upgraded gears to be put on the MMI should you wish too. Air suspension rises, and falls without issue.


It seriously drives like a dream, you cant tell its a diesel, its so quiet and refined. The 6 speed auto changes without you even noticing the shift!

Mot'd until Sept this year, I can mot for a buyer as I know it will fly through. Tax is until the end of November 2014
