Immobiliser programming
Hi everyone, I have a 2000 face lift S8 and I have found the dash cluster to keep failing causing the car not to start. I have managed to get a second hand dash cluster from A8parts and now have a couple of questions. Can anyone recommend someone or somewhere I can get the keys coded and can the mileage be changed as the new dash is out by 50K? Any advice appreciated. Thanks. Dave.

Intermittent immobilizer is more likely to be due to cable to immobilizer coil rather then instrument cluster, common problem on VAG cars

Thanks for the reply's. I am based near Gatwick. And the dash is going completely blank ie dash lights not coming on and when they eventually do the immobiliser light is flashing which is cured by either resetting dash or just leaving and coming back.
