Default MAF for 4.2 pf

Hi chaps

I think my MAF is knackered...however I only just changed it 1 year ago....and I am not sure if my MAF is reading low or if I am just down on vaccuum pressure in the intake manifold.....

Would anyone local to coventry...let me compare my maf to theirs....it is for a 4.2 pre facelift....

That way I ll know if it is the MAF which is buggered or some other underlying problem....

Thanks

Ranj

Disconnect the MAF and then run it, it will run on an emergency map and just feed generic info to the ECU, if it runs better with the MAF unplugged then it could be your MAF. Haven't you done any output tests on the MAF with Vag Com? I hope you got your MAF from TPS and not eBay, if so go claim on the 24 month warranty, if eBay cheapie - you pay twice.
