Default Drive shaft

One of my front drive shafts has gone kaput. The outer CV joint has disintegrated leaving the shaft flopping around in the wind. (And you know what it's like when your shaft goes floppy!) I'm going to replace the whole thing but removing the inner joint bolts could now be awkward as I cannot lock the shaft by having the wheel on the ground. (I don't have any air tools). Do any of you have any ingenious methods of lock the shaft in such a situation?

Cheers

Steve

I don't see a problem as long as 3 other wheels are on the ground and gearbox in park.

OK. I thought that the shaft might spin on the diff but I can see that with the box in park it might work. I'll try it and let you know.
