Air suspension crossing fingers!
So... Bagpipe Andy's miracle kit fitted and I have lift back! Fault codes revealed 1577 Shut off due to overheating
1772 implausible signal wire for pressure sender 1400 lower limit not achieved All classed as Sporadic.... Functions up and down are much quicker so clearly psi is back up. For the price of 2 hours labour and the kit, it would be lovely if all is now well. The old piston ring did not seem that worn but was scored underneath.
