Hey guys,
Will I be able to buy a Facelift TACHO and put it in my pre-facelift model from 1994? I would really like to get rid of the 12 small squares beneath the info screen and get the one where it's one small screen if possible. I kinda know I would need VAGCOM to adjust KM but will I get problems with the immobilizer? If so, can it be fixed? Best regards Peter |

No, the wiring and electronics of the PF and Facelift are very different.
The pre facelift has a separate immobiliser, and the Facelift has the immobiliser built in to the instrument cluster is just one thing, there is a lot more besides. You cannot convert the pre facelift system to facelift, by far the easiest way to achieve your goal is replace the car with a 2000+ model.
