Default Lower controlarms from Eurcarparts help

I just purchased and installes upper OEM Lemforders on the S8, but they want £550 just for the lower ones.. kinda pricy i must say.

I see that Eurocarparts has 31% off on Suspension parts now so i tried finding the right ones but its harder then it seems.

They have 2 different for the front rear. (only 1 is marked as front rear left fitment) but i ussume these are the correct?

This one

And

This one

Then for the lower front ones they have several from TRW and Q-Drive.

Anyone with experience regarding their quality?

There are "similar" ones to chose from

This it says Date to: 06.1999

This it says Date to: 06.1999

This No production date mentioned

This No production date mentioned

So... since the first 2 from what i see is for a S8 PF will the last 2 fit my FL 2000 S8? Built 09.99

Any advise would be very helpful..

Wont risk getting the wrong parts and the need to ship them back from Norway

Default Lower arms

For oem control arms I find allgermancar parts is best...based in Leeds with next day delivery...otherwise just have a look on eBay....I picked up a lower rear control arm for about 15 quid last time for a prefacelift...

Cheap eBay arms if you hate your car - they will last a few months. Neil managed to get a good deal on some OE, but most lack quality and are cheap Chinese manufactured units. Just get a full Meyle HD control arm kit through All German Car Parts or GSF, you could also try Leomforder which is OE or even 034 Motorsport arms. It is OEM or better on my cars only. Even my Punto got a genuine oil/filter.

Personal experience?

I have used several kits on several A4/6/8 from ebay.de, they came with 3 year warranty and arms lasted well 3+ years and 20k+ miles, only half of the track rod ends from those kits gave up around 10k mark. So now I use e-bay arms + Meyle HD track rod ends. I have to say that ride is a bit harsher with e-bay arms, I guess its down to using harder rubber for bushes but they seem to last well.

Well. Actually Changed my order last minute and included some TRW lower front control arms.

Got the package today and guess what. they have sent lemfoerder instead of TRW

So for the total price of 433 GBP i got all the lower control arms, tie end rods, the two "C" arm, both droplinks for the rear and a new drive belt.

Just saved over 500 GBP
