Battery Surprise

Hi There,

The other morning I came out of my house and went to the car and there was no flashing red light, my fancy smart key didn't unlock it when near the handle or even on lifting it, hence I knew I had an issue.

Pressed the bleeper button and she unlocked. Got in, noticed i'd only gone and left my lights on. *ARSE*

I tried the start button with only a little hope, expecting to get my jump leads out...and into life she roared, to my surprisement!

Onscreen battery showed 10%. The clock was flashing at me and everything else had shut down and yet it obviously shut down with enough of a charge to start it. *GENIUS*

Oh.....Is there a way to either get rid of the beep for Steering lock, or make it auto or something as the lack of warning beep has meant i've ocasionally forgot to turn the lights off, when using on a rainy day!
