Hello All,
I decided it was time to add a bit of modern tech to the audio system. I wasn't happy with the OEM solution of handing over large amounts of money ($599 here for the adapter to the $800 AMI) So I thought the best way to go was aftermarket. I bought a bluetooth receiver that uses RCA and simple 12V then installed it in the rear of the car where all the MOST computers hang out. ![]() The adapter is the Fusion MS BT-100 available on Ebay for around $50 AUD posted, and the Kufatec RCA inputs for my TV module. ![]() Fitment took 15 mins, I wired the earth to use the factory point on the floor, and the power was retrieved by inserting a pin into the lowest point on the factory fuse box. ![]() I then simply connect my phone to it and change the MMI to AV1. Also, the factory Audi Bluetooth for the phone is unaffected. Thought I would share. Mike
