Default Oil spill

I put a gallon can of oil in the boot of the 8 last Sunday and this morning i went to put my kit bag in the boot, when i opened it up i was greeted an oil spill. The carpet has done quite a good job of soaking it up though.

I’m thinking of emptying a big bag of saw dust in there and see if i can soak it out the carpet.

Does the carpet come out easy? I’ve never tried.

Yes, carpet comes out a doddle. Just those funny little 2-part clips IIRC. Bet you wish you'd splashed out on a boot liner.

Best using one of the industrial oil absorbing granule products that most garages have
