Wow, that is quiet cool.
Looks like the bonnet and grill is a one part.
I've seen the big grille kits for early D3 to facelift D3, but never nothing like that D2.
Nice find, I'm sure couple of D2 owners will get on it and will start researching the source of that picture

There is no polite way around it, the thing is horrendous and needs to die. Brian knows what I'm talking about, it's never good when someone say it's 'different'. Let's stop tip toeing around the obvious.

yeah OK rumbled, I am one of the purists as well and not really to my taste, buy hey live and let live, would be a funny old world if we all liked the same, still stick with the interesting tag though when applied to what folks do to their cars

Hideous

Just makes it looks like it's been in a heavy front end accident and for some reason they decided to repair it this way.

Bit like the pre-facelift D3s you see with facelift grilles grafted on, complete with huge shut lines
