Umm, i don't want to take away anyone's thunder because it is a very good project but the Meteor is a tank engine and was probably made by Rover or Meadows. It didnt have a supercharger on the camshaft had different pistons and was full of steel as weight wasn't a worry. I'm sure that a lot of Merlin scrap was used to build them.
So the headline should read Tank engined Bentley that isn't a Bentley but a Rolls Phantom 2.
Just doesn't have the same ring to it.
With a genuine Merlin engine from a Spitfire then it might be worth the asking price.
