Facelift S8 mirror cups, £300.
Not the cheap plastic alu-like cups. These are real aluminium alloy ones. New. Even with magnifying glass you won't find single blemish or imperfection on them. Purchased two years ago in Germany and was hesitating to install them since, like Neil, I'm a fan of mirrors painted car colour. Tried one side on today. Looked at them for a couple of hours from different angles and decided to sell. Pictures uploaded.

Received PM with the following question and though I'd answer it here:
>>Are the caps you're selling genuine Audi ones? Only reason for asking is whether the mounting points all match up for alloy/plastic caps. Mounting points on aluminium alloy mirror cups and on plastic mirror cups are different as far as I'm aware of. In plastic mirror cups we have one screw and two C-shape 'ears' that hold the mirror cup. With those C-shape 'ears' plastic cups land on 'posts' from mirror base. In alu mirror cup we have 3 screws -- classics. I think Audi done this for 2 reasons: 1. Billet aluminium alloy cup is technically impossible (or extremely difficult) to manufacture with those 'ears' that pastic mirror cups have as they literally take alu billet and remove 'everything else' with a drill. 2. Alu cups are significantly heavier and holding them on those clips is not a good idea. The beauty is that the mirror base supports both mounting systems: classic screw system for alu caps and 'ear' clip system for plastic cups. Systems are not mutually exclusive. You can mount alu cups and plastic cups on the same base. You only need two more screws on each side of the car for alu cups. When I tired on alu mirror cups today I have checked that 3 screw points on cup exactly match 3 screw holes on mirror base. Two of those 3 screw points will remain unused if we put plastic mirror cup back on. In terms of genuine they are or not I'm only 99.9% sure since I haven't purchased from directly from Audi Parts counter, but I'm very very sure they are genuine ![]() P.S. In ideal world, you'll need 4 more screws (2 each side) if you're upgrading from plastic cups to alu cups and I'm not supplying those 4 screws.
