Looks good, almost make me want to consider another D2 S8 over a D3 A8 4.2 QS.

I went to see this a couple of weeks ago - it was a trade in apparently, so being sold on by an out of town place that didn't seem to know much about it. It didn't look very well cared for tbh - sunroof overhead switch box was hanging loose, drivers seat outer side bolster had a 2 inch rip that had been very poorly stitched, plus a number of other general wear and tear issues.

I didn't like it, and walked away pretty quickly, so can't recall the mileage, and I didn't drive it, so I might be being a bit harsh, but I doubt it. I think it is definitely overpriced for what it is - the older green one listed later in this thread looks cleaner from the pics

Nice car, but 3x3 point rear seat belts, iso fix and floding rear seats eh? i don't think so, what else is a lie eh, eh, false advertisement saying it has stuff it doesn't tut, tut, tut Not sure it has parking aids either.

I'll give £600 for it and take a chance, early 5 speed in that one too?

How on earth has that happened, you're such a conservative driver?

Amar have you not considered SystemST proper carbon discs? I heard they are around £1500 a corner and last much longer than the Audi/Porsche ones which just have a thin friction layer essentially glued on?

Not heard of them, no... I'm going with genuine discs for the time being, but will check them out.

Check them out, they are no joke, they partner with Mov'it and I believe they used to supply Stoptech. They also make aircraft brakes.
In my crazier moments I have considered asking how much a set of discs for the S8 would cost.

When I was looking into it I came accross this thread

just a bit more digging, for my own sake too.

apologies for sidetracking the original post.
