Says it all really. Something has suddenly and for no apparent reason decide to rattle behind the dashboard on the passenger side above and behind the glovebox area. I've checked all the plastic trim bulkhead side including the ecu box, scuttle trim and around the radiator bottle. All is well. I have checked the under tray and all is well. I have removed the glovebox and had a peek behind/above it and all appears normal nothing loose, wobbly or otherwise falling off. The noise occurs over bumps at low speed such as a pothole or speed humps all the time including when braking and steering and sounds like something plastic rattling (not heavy, clunky, tinny or vibratey) as opposed to suspension arms giving up the ghost. I had a quick grab on the upper suspension arms that I could reach without jacking up and taking the wheel off and they are absolutely solid with no movement at all. The suspension when giving a "bump" test pushing up and down gives no noise. Low speed moving makes no noise (going gently up a lowered kerb for example) and once at normal main road speeds there's no noise. What's above the alloy beam behind the glove box? What else could be plastic rattling in a dashboard area near the passenger windscreen pillar? And how does the upper vent cover come out so I can see if anything has dropped inside the damn thing! The rattle is beginning to affect my calm sedate manner and I would like to find the irritating and surprisingly loud rattle before I begin using rude words

any advice???!!
