Airbag Light on, easy diagnostics?
Good morning. Been lurking a while, now its time to solve a problem!
Ive got a 95 D2 with a 4.2 v8. The air bag light has come on. Im technically minded, untill it comes to warning lights like this. Will this be an Audi only diagnostics problem or would any generic code reader find the fault for me? Cheers folks! be gentle!

The best fault code reader that the average joe can buy and use is VAGCOM.
There are others out there but if you are keeping your car for any length of time then its a worthwhile investment. This is the real deal Click link There are quite a few of us on here that have cables and software for diagnostics and may be able to help. see here It would be good if you update your profile with location etc so someone in your area could possibly help you out.  Always have a look at the "stickies" at the top of each section for links to similar items that have already been experienced by others, there are upgrade stickies and repair stickies. In this case it may be an issue similar to the THREAD here that is your problem
