Has anyone done this? If so, any tips?
I don't have Bose and the space where the amp would sit is empty (apart from a small electronics unit which I guess is part of the parking system) with plenty of room for the CD changer. The wiring conveniently comes in below floor level so all it needs is some reasonable means of securing it and a removable panel to get access for changing the cassette. Rigid plastic sheet & Velcro like the battery cover would probably be fine for the cover. Edit: Also, does anyone happen to know what the difference is between the A and B version changers, I happen to have one of each! 4B0 035 111A and 4B0 035 111B. Both work fine.
