Default Blower not working?

Fitted my double din today and now my air blower isn't working. everything else is working on the controls and I hear the controls changing form air at feet to air vent on dash but now blow. fuses at foot well check out ok so now I am at a loss.
can anyone give me some help

Can only think you've nudged one of the connectors on the back of the climate control module.. Or you've been really unlucky and the fan has gone at the same time.

Did a power check on the connectors going to the fan and I have power going through them, so it looks like a new fan.

a bit of and update.
just pulled off the blower motor and it is fine. I can bridge the wires and it comes on.
I voltage checked the rest of the wires and I need help with the yellow wire in the picture that I think turns blower on and off and goes to the controller next to blower?
should this wire have a voltage coming through it controlling it or is the controller bow next to the blower just stopped working?

Ive ordered a second hand resistor to see if that's the problem. i hope it is that

new resistor fitted and new controls inside car and the blowers are still not working??

Wired and new sender wire to the resistor and we have life again. whoooo

Current mods: solar sun roof, 20mm rear spacers, 15 mm on front, red brembo callipers, 6k headlights, rear view camera, engine remap, alloy dash dial rings, alloy navi rings, tt/phaeton pedal upgrade, (and custom matching foot rest) dension ipod interface & parrot hands free kit (both fully hidden), av input, tv in motion switched thro' PF switch in blanking plug right of steering column, Audi 'quattro' sill covers, repositioned centre console switches, radio clock, .
Planned mods: auto-dimming rear view mirror, dash cam (as steamship's), fit the ski hatch, refit philips drl's (or maybe not - nope, definitely not - horrible botch!).
