Default Drivers door rattle

Folks, I have a mildly annoying rattle coming from the drivers door area. I've put off fixing it for some time as I dread the thought of taking off an A8 door panel, but enough is enough.

Can anyone advise how to remove it? Is it easy enough to remove with the door pocket? Is there a known rattle in the door per chance in that I should be aiming for a particular area? I initially thought it was the door bin, but I don't believe it is now.

What about removing the trim between the 2 doors, below where the seat belt emerges too- how is it done?

In my previous cars I had no problem prising bits of plastic off etc, but would rather have an idea of how to tackle this before starting as it all seems a bit more sturdy.

There are bolts behind the trim and behind the pocket.
Remove them and then gently prise the door card off the door.
there are clips al the way around.

The door pocket can only be removed when the door card is off.

make sure you don't drop any of the bolts down the back of the door pocket, that's a bitch cause then you got to take it all apart again.

When the door card is lose, make sure you unplug everything, don't just yank it away cause you could take some cables with you and that's bad.

I got no idea on the rattle though.

What trim do you mean that the bolts are behind?

So open bin, then there should be bolts visible behind it too?

The top trim.
The wood and alloy (if that's what you got) comes off in one.
Its clipped in most of it apart from the B pillar side, that's slid in.

You can see the cut aways where you can put a thin 10mm socket to remove the bolts.
I'm basing all this on the rear door card that I took off.

You will note in there that under reinstalling it says "replace damaged clips". If it's anything like a D2 you WILL break some taking it off, so get some spares.
Of course the rattle may actually be broken clips.....

I broke 2 on the my rear door card.
I think I did ok.

I bought a pack of 50 clips the other week and lost them now.
Before I lost them I never got round to checking they are the right ones, they look it but not 100% sure.
If I find them and they are right I will use them to replace mine but if you need any let me know and I'll send you some.

Any idea of part numbers for the clips? I could also do with having a supply of them. I need some for the trim on the passenger side anyway.

When my door rattled, it was because two screws were loose.
These are located behind the walnut burr trim.
