Passenger Side Front Door Stiff Opening/Closing

Hi,

The passenger side front door is very stiff when opening and closing... now I've tried my best to clean the hinges and I've re-greased them but its made little if any difference.

Forgive me if this description is a little crude but hopefully somebody will know what I'm talking about... As I see it, the door lower hinge consists of an arm (pointing to up to the sky) which is fixed to the body of the vehicle, and series of cylindrical bearings which are fixed to the door... it seems to me that the arm is providing to much resistance on the cylindrical bearings as they pass and this is what is making the door stiff, I don't think it is a lubrication issue, there is plenty of grease on there now. I'm wondering if there is a way of adjusting the arm so it provides less resistance.

Does anybody have any ideas?
