Cornering lights not working

Hi Guys,

I'm 6 weeks into A8 ownership and this forum has been a massive help (thanks for all the good tips). I bought my 2006 4.2 TDI with a few known issues, and I'm slowly chipping away at them with the help of forum - but one new issue has left me stumped...

My car has xenon lights, next to the xenons are some H7 corning lights, and then inboard from them is a P21W reversing bulb that gets used as a daylight running light. These H7 corning lights just never ever come on - not at speed, reversing, cornering, indicating...

I connected VCDS (official Hex+Can version) and cannot connect to the following modules:

[29] left light
[39] right light
[55] headlight range
[49] automatic light

But I can connect to and retrieve the coding for the following modules:

[09] cent. elect. - Coded as 0143121
[4F] cent. electr. II - Coded as 0010101

I wanted to enable showroom mode, but cannot without module 55.

Does anyone know what coding I need to be able to activate these corning lights, or am I missing some hardware? Do I have AFS, and should these bulbs actually work? Option xx?xxxx #4 seems to be the only module [09] coding where the P21W's and xenons work as expected.
