Default A8 ZF Gearbox servicing

Hi everyone,

After many many enquirers via PM on this i would like to just shed some light.

Yes we do indeed offer full transmission servicing and we use the same equipment as Mackies In Glasgow

We can update the software and change from Lifeguard 6 to lifeguard 8 and do the firmware update ect

This is not a plug for advertising but as we are an independent A8 Specialist it seems the right thing to do after we seem to spend most of our time fixing other Garages " Mess ups " When servicing the gear box.

The latest one was a 3.0TDI that was serviced by another garage and under filled by 3 Liters and had the incorrect filter fitted compared to what should have been fitted,

Most filters look very similar but the pick up pipes can differ by only 10mm and this is enough to starve the gearbox when cold.

If you are anywhere near Mackies and its closer for you to go to Glasgow then i Highly Highly recommend Mackies as we work very close with them and they provide us will all our software for doing updates ect and are very nice bunch of Guy's

Quite a lot of you forum Guy's already use us anyway but for those who have not and are thinking of doing your transmission then this may or may not help,
