The issues stated there are classed separately to mine and so a bit easier to treat successfully but any move is stem cell research is a bonus in my eyes (again, pardon me!) as this is the way forward if a cure for my problem is to be found.

Really appreciate you both finding that and posting it up!

I thought it was quite interesting as we were talking about stem cell's 2 years ago and now they are ready to test on human guinea pig's.

I'd be a guinea pig! I have infact sent an email to the hospital in question!
The scary issue with Stem Cell therepy is that they are brilliant at repairing damaged cells, infact for a few years they have been able to cure the same issue in mice but they can't stop the cells repairing, so the cells take over the entire eye and eventually turn cancerous. I assume they're on top of this if they're trying it on people!
