Mine is (are) blocked.
I tried the procedure shown elsewhere with the bit of pipe under the airbox but no joy (might have been my lack of puff- no airline!). I have holly trees in my driveway, so the berries will have found their way in. I tried putting a lot of water in the scuttle in the hope that the head of water pressure might free the blockage, but no joy. Water leaked from below the dash (both sides) and dampened the front carpets. Next time I drove, a load of water sloshed out of the rear air outlet (same area as rear fag lighter) and wet the rear carpets. Is there any way of clearing a stubbornly blocked scuttle drain other than the 'airline and bit of pipe' method? Maybe from below with car on a ramp? |
