Petrol companies' marketing....
...are they all pretty hopeless?
Hot on the heels of the Shell discount voucher debacle, I received "a special thankyou" from BP in the post this morning. It was 100 bonus Nectar points and "free coffee for a month" in the form of a credit card type discount voucher. Unfortunately, the card is valid from 1 -31 May. As today is 17th May, that gives me exactly 2 weeks' free coffee!

Marketing - A corruption from the Latin "ripoffus" - to convince idiots to buy things they didn't need with offers that don't actually work :P
