I have a couple of questions about the sensors.
First off The front bumper sensor has pushed into the bumper by a few mm. And one know a neat trick to pulll it back out without removing the bumper or undertray valance? Second Had a rear end shunt and replaced the bumper. All sensors are wired in but the park assist does not engage. Gives a long tone and then the led blinks to say its working butnon functional. Dropped into reverse and there are two sensors that hiss (working?) And two that do not.mshould I takeitthe non hissing ones are FUBAR and get replacements? Many thanks Garry |

If you have access to VCDS it will tell you which sensors are not working, generally working ones click or tick.
The front sensors are pushed in from behind. On the D2 access is very difficult, IIRC they are mounted between a metal crash bar and the front plastic part of the bumper. Depending on which sensor it is, the centre sensors, you maybe able to push it into the bumper from behind by reaching behind the bumper with the bonnet open. The outer sensor are more problematic because the headlights are in the way.

Great stuff. I'm getting my car on the diagnostic so will find out if the rear 2 are broken.
As for the fronts lone is a centre and one is the passenger side from my so might struggle with that. Best get my skinny armed missus to adjust that one. Thanks |
