Bit gutted to be honest!

Not great day today!

I've had an issue with me eyes for a while that the hospital have been looking into (excuse the pun).

After several months of pretty nasty tests and meets with LOADS of opthalmic bofins they have decided that I have a gentic malfuntion that means the photoreceptors in my eyes get deposits built up that damage them. This means my already affected vision cannot be repaired after they told me it could, albeit with fairly invasive surgury.
Turns out my vision is going to get worse and within 2-20 years (good window there - sounds like an Audi dealer diagnosis) I will almost certainly lose it all together. I am hopeful that they eventually come up with a gene therapy that atleast stops the degrading but not best happy at minute!!!!

Hoping to fin that they have it wrong........!

Not really much we can say, but that isn't great.

Our thoughts are with you at this end, and here's hoping that they can do something.

Thanks mate! Apreciated. Not muh can be said, will just deal with as things go on. There's some clever buggers working on stuff like this all the time so fingers crossed!

Thanks mate! If anyone is able to sort it I'd like a pair of replacement eyes, preferably bionic with night vision and a zoom function!

on serious note, gutted for you, if there was one sense I would hate to lose its sight.

Ben I have already spoke to you about this, and like everyone else. Let us know if there's anything I can do. My brother in law, an optician will be coming with the A8 so feel free to ask him anything.

John, that holy man doesn't happen to be from Lutterworthish area does he? My sister had this problem with her hand that no one could sort, doctors tried for months and she went to a holy man or something like that someone recommended and he sorted it in 15 minutes, its perfect now!
