Faulty wing mirror motor / demister

The motor and demister on my near side wing mirror packed in recently. How easy is it to replace the motor? Am I right in saying that the folding motor & demister are a single unit? Will I need a whole new wing mirror? Thanks for any advice, as there is now slight play in the wing mirror which causes a shimmer when driving at speed or over rough roads.
