things i didn't know...

So, i'm stuck in traffic... AH HA thinks I, turn on the traffic announcements find out what the problem is. I Normally never use it, might as well get a heads up as to how long I'll be delayed.

This prompted 2 things i didn't know..... and you lot probably all do.
Drum roll.......

1. I didn't know the radio digitally records the traffic announcements, repeating the last one when you re-press the traffic announcement button.

2. I didn't know how to shut the damn traffic announcements off discovering point #1 by jabbing away at the traffic announcement button trying to shut the damn thing off!

(i know now...press and hold)

Who'd have thought, digital recording in a 12 year old car.......even after a year of ownership, it still manages to suprise me........ Sorry for announcing the obvious, just pleasantly suprised!

Yep..

And if I remember rightly, you can hold down the TP(or is it TA) button when you turn off the engine to make it record the announcements for the next 24 hours. Handy for when you get in the next morning to catch the last local report.
