I find the headlamps want to wash far too often. It uses huge amounts of fluid every time.
Is there someplace in VagCom where the time can be adjusted? D3 A8L 3.0TDi

I am not sure but I would say I am afraid not. I do not have washers for headlights in S8 but i did have in A6 and I disabled them 2 weeks after getting the car by pulling the plug for the pump.

Thanks,
I might just do that as I'm fed up filling it up every other day! Only squirts the windows for about 2 seconds then the headlamp wash uses about 2 litres each side! ![]()

could always switch the headlights off when you need to wash the screen (during daylight hours, of course) so they don't fire on the headlights?

I am pretty sure my A6 (1994 C4) lhd back in continent washed them regardless if they were on or off. Not sure if A/S8 is any different.

My D2 S8 only washes headlights if the headlights are on and you pull the switch for more than 1 second constantly. Other option would be to do several short quirts so the headlight wash doesn't cut in?
