Default Another year's MOT :)

I've just returned from the MOT test.....

Pleased to report that the S8 passed with flying colours, and no advisories

Hopefully another years motoring sorted ....

Shame is, that if my plans to leave the UK come to fruition, I'll have to part with her
(and my old Rover P5B Coupe, and the Harley too)

We'll see....

Good news for the 8.

My Grandad left me with a few words of advice and sayings over the years before he died, some i'll never forget and one quite fitting to this "Cu" oh hang on that will be censored, "woman can draw a man further than dynamite shall blow him"

All the best in whatever you do

And in a tag team dual header of MoT wonderment I also passed my MoT today, 1 advisory on a CV gaiter that is beginning to look a bit second hand but is still functioning as intended (which I will keep my peepers on) other than that the various gubbins, coggins and doohickies are all functioning as Audi intended. A good day for PF's all round.

Ford Capri Laser: noisy, slow, thirsty, bouncy, no buttons but it always sounds like it’s REALLY trying and I can’t help but chuckle when it parps and boings along. And people of a certain age stare at it with a wistful look in their eyes that clearly says…I had one of them. And I sold it because of the kids

Make that a triple header of PF's being MOT'd!

I haven't been as fortunate though, two rear callipers renewed and I've heard nothing since then so I'm hoping there isn't any further bad news. I'm having the immobiliser wire renewed after having repeated issues with it recently and they're doing a full service so hopefully it'll be back on the drive in the very near future.

I've also got it booked in for a gearbox health check with someone I was recommended to try after my scare a few weeks ago. I had a twenty minute conversation with the guy when I got back from holiday and heard enough to convince me he knows his stuff. I'll let you all know how it goes, hopefully very well!

Thanks gents....

Well done to the other PF's that passed, and all those being maintained

Dezzy mate, your observations never fail to make me grin - quite profound
