New Style Key
This was asked on another forum, I don't know the answer and can't find it so thought I'd ask cause it sparked my curiosity.
Will the new style audi Key work with our D3s? This style.

Same here
It should stop the blade flicking out and getting cause in my pockets or stabbing me in my leg when I sit down. I'm still trying to get use to not having a key in the ignition.

I've been trying to find some information on the smart key but can't find much and I don't think anyone has done it or looked in to it.

When you sat its different?
The frequency needed? I know in the older cars it was all about the frequency but I got no idea on the new and newer ones.

Sorry, I thought you meant swapping internals to the new style case.
Frequency wise - I don't know, but I like the idea - it says the frequency in small text under the key blade on ours, so we can compare this to the new ones.

Snapdragon, I did the same thing. Cut the board down, made my own tracks up, sorted the buttons out and the batteries, but could not close the damn case
 PsYcHe, yeah that's my thinking. Be nice to know for sure though
