Right with the D3 on the drive I need to move the good old D2.

Started to put the advert together below, not finished yet but I though I would put the car here to see if anyone has an interest before it goes onto ebay.

Forgive some of the wording its been designed for ebay not the wise heads here.

Basics are that cambelt service is due and the gearbox drives as it should but never touched or serviced.

2002 Audi A8 3.7 Quattro Sport

Excellent runner and has been a very good car that’s never let me down.
The car is backed up by excellent service history and a wallet full of old bills so the high miles should not be a concern and the car drives as if it’s done half of those. The engine is still sweet as anything, does not use any oil and still pulls like a train the gearbox is also smooth and changes gear perfectly.

I have owned the car for a little over a year and it’s been an excellent car, I am only selling the car as I have now purchased a newer Audi A8.

The interior is excellent and everything works as it should, this being a sport model comes complete with the black leather Recaro interior.

The car was built in the last month of the Audi A8 D2 model production run so is very good specification. The car comes with as standard the 20" 9 spoke alloys, rear DVD and Play station system plus wireless headphones. This is all factory installed nothing aftermarket.

Points to note

• This is not a brand new car so please do not expect it to be!
• There is the odd minor car park ding or small mark on the car. It’s good condition but not please do not consider immaculate or a showroom fresh car
• The car is due a service and I would recommend the cam belt is replaced at that point also
• The Alloys are a little flaky so could do with a refurbishment to make perfect
• The engine light comes on from time to time, the fault is for one of the four Lambda sensors not heating up fast enough (02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1))
• One of the front parking sensors has failed so needs to be replaced
• One of the lower small front bumper grills has fallen off at some point
• The front Automatic headlight levelling sensor has thrown a fault. Its either got water in the connection or a new sensor needs fitting (£50)
• The front discs and pads have been recently replaced but the braking from high speed is not quite as smooth as it should be. I suspect just needs to be driving more than I have been using it recently to clean the disc surfaces up.

Price well that's the good old question, what is someone willing to pay for the old girl. Feedback would be welcome on that, I would like £1500 if I could get it.
