One Mod
If you've not guess, I'm not very busy in work recently and as such I spend way too much time on the internet looking at random bits and dreaming of things to do with my car. When I'm not fixing the previous thing I thought of doing.
Looking at some of the options and extras you can get for the A8, this got me thinking. If you could have one OEM mod/extra fitted to your car, money no object. what would it be? I'm still thinking of mine.

Well, I'd "like" adaptive cruise, but it was never available on the D2, so sticking to options that Audi would sell you I'd have to say Bose.

2003 D2 FL S8. Irish Green Pearl/Beige. Solar sunroof, auto-dim mirrors, electric rear seat functions and extended leather. Ski hatch retrofit. Aftermarket reversing camera. DVB-T and XCarlink now removed as redundant. 2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation".  (Even rarer than a D2 S8!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!  Finally: gone, but not forgotten..... 1998 D2 PF S8. Agate Grey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, Tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors. e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course.  (internal dimming mirror added later)1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon. Added Auto-dim mirror, Leather seats, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer. And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

a manual box would be nice but as that wasnt available in the UK, probably Bose sound system for me too

Or failing that, I'd quite like a solar sunroof.

I've got Bose and a solar sunroof, so it'd probably be a heated front screen and heated & adjustable rear seats.

Current mods: solar sun roof, 20mm rear spacers, 15 mm on front, red brembo callipers, 6k headlights, rear view camera, engine remap, alloy dash dial rings, alloy navi rings, tt/phaeton pedal upgrade, (and custom matching foot rest) dension ipod interface & parrot hands free kit (both fully hidden), av input, tv in motion switched thro' PF switch in blanking plug right of steering column, Audi 'quattro' sill covers, repositioned centre console switches, radio clock, .Planned mods: auto-dimming rear view mirror, dash cam (as steamship's), fit the ski hatch, refit philips drl's (or maybe not - nope, definitely not - horrible botch!).

B&O for me.. I've got all the other stuff I want that was available pretty much. Oh, and the solar roof, but that looks much more involved in the D3 than D2.

I'm torn.
ACC, Solar Roof, Fridge, Rear Entertainment pack, extended centre consol, hmmmm I don't know. Solar roof would be more useful in the summer along with the fridge but then ACC would be useful almost every weekend.
