Engine Flush pre oil change?
Hi,
He's due an oil and filter change so I'm going to be doing that before the meet this weekend. What's the general consensus on running something like Wynn's Engine Flush through before replacing the oil? Any particular experiences, positive or negative, with our engines? Cheers, Gregor

But I do like the Rear Seat Entertainment . . . . . . 477k miles to the moon and back. 238k to go and between them they'll have made it!

I never tried one of those engine flush chemicals.
I did do a different kind of flush by pouring fresh oil in and letting it pour out in the hope of pushing out some more of the old oil, before I put the sump plug back on. I heard of people doing a double oil change, ie, new oil in, drive the car around briefly, then another oil change.

Seems the general consensus is not to bother then. Thanks for the replies.
I'm refilling with Quantum 5w30 so hopefully that will be good enough . . . . .
