Exhaust sound upgrade?
Guys,
As this is my first a8 don't know much about it. Had mercs before and to upgrade exhaust was easy, I knew what need to be done easy,quick and cheap What would be a best way to get more burble from my v8, not too much I want it to growl a bit more On mercs I use to remove the resonator plus x pipe - left original muffler and it was enough for me Any advise would be appriciated Thanx

Hi Borys
It is a bit tricky. Removing anything increases the sound drastically. Removing middle section and keeping original back boxes does make it sounds nice, but not very deep. So I would start with back boxes first. Here are some samples from stage 1 and 2 Both really loud so if I were you and wanted only a bit then start from the back and ask for not very loud boxes, I did because that's what I was after check this threads, you will find there links to video clips. http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7206 here are some from the ADI. That sounds very similar, but difficult to judge from the video.
Are you after a loud exhaust??
