Hi all. I need some part numbers for the upper control front control arms and Tie rod ends.
Car is a 98 4.2 quattro sport pre facelift. I dont need expensive parts as I do next to no mileage. Whats the difference between the sport and non sport apart from the ride hight? Thanks in advance. |

I have taken an extact from the Lemforder catalogues which provides Audi part numbers and the lemfoder number too. Rather than feed you duff info, its probably best to look at this.

Thanks for that but I'm still non the wiser lol.
There is no mention of the sport model on that list ![]() ![]() I can only presume the sport is the same as the standard quattro but with a lower ride height. Really struggling with this part ![]() |

I have asked a few ebay sellers and they all seem non the wiser lol.
One seller even told me their parts would fit but not sure how fit for purpose they would be for such a heavy engine lmao. |

Arms and track rod ends are the same sport or no sport, I have attached pdf from Etka. The difference is in shocks, springs and antirollbar. I strongly advise against cheap track rod ends from e-bay, the ones I have seen on several A4,A6, A8 and Passats(all the same) only last 4-10k miles. Suspension arms seem to do better but upper straight arms(no 19 in diagram) for A/S8 are only available from limited number of suppliers and no really cheap alternatives anyway as they are different from A4, A6 and Passat, the rest of arms are the same.
