Who has ACC on there S8 ?
If you have D3 S8 id be massively greatfull for some help.
You must have ACC on your S8 please If you have VCDS could you go into address 01Engine and select coding and show me what engine coding you have.. Bottle of whisky in it for who ever can participate as im stuck and only have 12 hours to finish it off.. was not anticipating the ecu being so different on the S8

Sorry I cant help, but I'm watching with interest....
The preface S8 seemingly never has ACC available in any of the brochures, where the facelift did, and the S6 with the same engine always had it available from day 1. I always kind of wondered if there was a reason, or if it was a marketing gaff.... I'd wondered if the longer V10 engine hadn't left room somehow for the radar, but that didn't explain why it suddenly fitted fine in the facelift. Hope you get to the bottom of it

Well I am balls deep into a retrofit on the S8 but the ecu for the engine is different to any other A8 .. With long coding rather than the usual vcds guide so need to input someone else's coding who has acc in order to get communication from the engine to the Acc radar and function .
It's a 2006 S8 .. so I hope it's compatable with acc on a pre face lift

2 Engine ECU's as well on the S8 I suspect? Same as the 4.2 Tdi and W12..?

That is exactly what I need for the S8 .. I'm sure the 2 turbos may be an issue of the Na V10... although wouldn't go a miss that's for sure
