No heat in footwell

Hello everyone,

I have noticed that there is no heat in my foot wells on my 2006 D3 S8. The vents at the end of dash deliver heat and VCDS does not show any errors under hvac. Are there any common issues which I could check out. My seat warmers are getting a good work out!

We are talking about the front footwells here ??

So the face vents , screen, end of dash vents are blowing hot and all good , this proves matrix is flowing and exchanging heat .

When the direction is at floor position is there air flow present but it is cold or no air flow at all .

If it is blowing but cold air it must be some kind of blend flap that is in the wrong position for when its in floor position .

Can you do the full hvac test with vcds that runs all blend motors and positioning flaps through there full working travel see if anything flags up then .

Hi Mechnico,

Yes, it is front footwells suffering no heat. Setting it as manual and directing flow down with temp set to HI, still doesn't push heat to front footwells. Will try VCDS over weekend with full hvac test suite.
