Default Can some one tell me if this will fit my car

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A8-FR...#ht_1460wt_698

i have 1999 D2 but its just on the edge of the time line, as in the car is a facelift but has pre facelift steel hubs ect so just want to make sure as the car failed the mot on Two front lower forward arms and the rear callipers

also need to know if the calipers are correct

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A8-RI...#ht_1150wt_846

Oh yes i have rear vented discs in case that matters

many thanks

Cannot say for sure, guess you need to check whether your car have 16mm or 20mm taper for ball joints.

I used these before: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Audi-A4-A6-VW...ht_1294wt_1056

And they suggest it fits all years 1994-2002. Te only thing is that the 1 of the top arms on each side in their kit does not fit for 8's but is A4,A6 and Passat fitment.

Not sure about your calipers mate they are deffo different than i have on mine but know they did change for FL. The handbrake quadrent is in a different place. See the sticky under brakes as i took photies of what i have on mine. You might have to take a wheel off and see what you have.

That link works for me, yes it's on german e-bay and I only posted it for reference to see that they say same arms fit all years.

I have spare unused lower curved arm for right side and lower straight arm that will fit either side.

Is it just a handbrake sticking on calipers?

You could buy a caliper seal kit and new pistons.

My experiences of ebay are that if you can buy the correct part on it for £49.00 then you will be able to buy one from a local motor factor for £40.00. Worth making a few phone calls.

phoned up the local motorfactors and they sed the only ones listed for my car are 58+vat each for the arms and the calipers are 147+ vat each for referbed ones an i have to return the others as exchange, this one looks right http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A8-RI...#ht_1150wt_846

yes hand brake is partly working on the driver side and not at all on passenger side and its also binding passenger side as if the break is stuck on slightly,

the two arms gone are both the same passenger side lower front facing arm/joint
and the driver side lower front facing

is that what you have spare ?
