Current mods: solar sun roof, 20mm rear spacers, 15 mm on front, red brembo callipers, 6k headlights, rear view camera, engine remap, alloy dash dial rings, alloy navi rings, tt/phaeton pedal upgrade, (and custom matching foot rest) dension ipod interface & parrot hands free kit (both fully hidden), av input, tv in motion switched thro' PF switch in blanking plug right of steering column, Audi 'quattro' sill covers, repositioned centre console switches, radio clock, .Planned mods: auto-dimming rear view mirror, dash cam (as steamship's), fit the ski hatch, refit philips drl's (or maybe not - nope, definitely not - horrible botch!). |

That's a very distinctive odour when that seal goes. Main dealer did mine 2 years ago, cost £150 in total, including a brand new 'freebie' A4 s-line as a courtesy car for 3 days. The exhaust definitely comes off, as mine had to have new clamps (from Audi) which is why I had the A4 for 3 days.
I'll try for something larger next time, as the A4, whilst a nice small car, once inside, is quite hard for someone of my stature to squeeze into (contort) - The 8 is tight enough on the door aperture & headroom! (apologies for the digression)
